The concept of Frankie's began as a Mediterranean style restaurant to be housed at the corner of Main and Brock Streets in Uxbridge, Ontario in February of 2008. On March 1 2008 Frank and Donna's son and Joel's eldest brother, Frankie, was killed in a scooter accident in Miami. Frank, being a severe Celiac all his life, determined the fate of this restaurant - it became 100% gluten-free to be a haven for all Celiacs and as a tribute to our son and brother.
