East-Tec (formerly EAST Technologies) has been creating innovative and award-winning privacy and security products and solutions since the end of 1997. The company was founded by Horatiu Tanescu and Eugen Malita while still in high school. They foresaw the importance of protecting sensitive information from falling into the wrong hands, and the necessity of protecting the privacy, identity and confidential information of the computer and Internet user.
